Thomas E. Lubnau, II is a Wyoming native, born in Laramie on December 12, 1958.  He grew up in Gillette and graduated high school from Campbell County High School in 1977.  In 1981, he received a Bachelor of Science degree with honors from the University of Wyoming and in 1984, he received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wyoming College of Law.  He thereafter began practice with his father, the firm’s namesake, who was also an attorney who had a successful career in Gillette.  Tom has raised two fine children, Rachel and Thomas, in Gillette with his beautiful wife, Rita Lubnau.  Tom is a published author several times over and in his free time enjoys flying his 1965 Cherokee over this beautiful state.

Tom’s contributions to the community, the Wyoming Bar, and the State are too numerous to recite.  A few highlights of Tom’s service include 21 years on the county fire department; service as Commissioner, Vice President and President of the Wyoming Bar; and 10 years representing Campbell County in the Wyoming State House of Representatives including terms as Majority Floor Leader and Speaker of the House.  Tom has been widely recognized for his contributions and accomplishments.

Tom is a very practical attorney. He is loyal and cares deeply about his clients and the results he achieves for them.  Tom prides himself on being able to offer “big city” legal service at a home town firm.  Tom has broad legal experience, having practiced in almost every area of the law over his impressive career, representing Fortune 500 companies as well as his neighbors.  Currently, Tom’s acts as General Counsel for two Wyoming hospitals and has represented many more hospitals across the state over the last 25 years.  While Health and Hospital law is the focus of Tom’s practice he also engages in Personal Injury, Commercial/Corporate, Business and Estate Planning, Real Estate and Oil and Gas, Employment, Litigation and Appellate Practice as well.
